Andy is the best person I could have met to organize a tour of Northern Vietnam and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
I was struggling with fairly complex logistics, as we were meeting our daughter in Hanoi and then travelling with her for a few days before she continued her backpacking adventures.
As her plans changed, so did ours, and so I had to communicate multiple times with Andy in planning the trip. I always received very prompt , courteous and accurate responses, despite the time difference, which meant Andy was responding in the middle of his night!
Eventually we had a plan put together, but as with all things done on the internet there was a little apprehension about how well things would work.

The apprehension was misplaced – Andy and his team were superb, On our first pickup we were delayed by bad weather and didnt get to Hanoi until 2am, but our driver was there to meet us. We then met Andy the next day for a lovely coffee and walk around the town, It is obvious how much he loves his country and is so proud to show it off. We actually had the joy of his company for a couple of days as he joined us as a personal guide for a couple of days, visiting Mau Chau and Tam Hoc and all of us loved his enthusiasm and easy going manner.

He is very knowledgeable about Vietnam and gave us a great insight into the country, the customs, the food and its people.

We then left his personal care and moved further south to Doi Hang and Hue, eventually getting to Hoi An before returning to the UK via Ha Long bay and Hanoi.
At each transfer Andy would confirm pick up times and check everything was OK via WhatsApp. All of our drivers and guides afterwards were excellent.

The country itself is just remarkable, and we absolutely loved the place. So many memories !!
I couldn’t recommend Vietnam or Andy enough – if you get the chance go for it – it wont disappoint.

Everything was absolutely spot on in terms of cars and timings – every connect
